Elaara lives in Perth, Western Australia, with her husband, a cat, two dogs, a snake, and some or all of her children depending on the day — or sometimes the time of day. She also has a bunch of people all living their lives inside her head, which is honestly a lot to manage.
 

As Ella Wyld she writes sci-fi and fantasy for young adults, and as Elaara Wylder she writes explicit romantasy because she's a little... well… Wylder. Her “for grown-ups only” books lean into humour, heart, and happily-ever-afters.
 

Elaara is putting the finishing touches on her Masters in Creative Writing — just one assignment stands between her and the right to be called Master. Or Mistress, depending on how well she likes you.
