Over the last few days it has been my pleasure to read "Horrible Harry - Bad Boyfriend's Inc. Book 2"
I've been a huge fan of both authors for some time now, both separately and as a writing team. Lisa and Sarah clearly share the same twisted sense of humour, and a love of all things wacky, outlandish, or just plain ridiculous. It shows in their writing. Even knowing both of them as well as I do, I cannot point to phrases or paragraphs that I can definitively say were written by either of them.
Horrible Harry is book 2 in their new series "Bad Boyfriends Inc.". The premise being that each of the "boyfriends" are for hire for a date if you want to scare someone into thinking that the boyfriend they hated before, wasn't really that bad!
I was lucky enough to score an ARC of this book, and I could not put it down! Harry is adorkable and Jack is equally sweet. All Harry needs to do to let Jack into his life, to let Jack lead him on a journey of self-discovery, is to get over the fact that Jack tried to murder him!
I cannot recommend this book, and the rest in the series, to anyone who is looking for sweet, funny, romantic and irreverent characters who are endearing and so well written it's hard to believe they aren't real people.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was lucky enough to score an ARC of this book. I have long been a fan of Lisa and Sarah as authors both separately and as a team, and this book does NOT let their previous efforts down.

Harry is a lovable, adorkable, bad at being bad boyfriend, who is led on a journey of self-discovery by the equally lovable new roommate Jack. That is if Harry can get over the fact that Jack tried to murder him.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable read with an abundance of funny, tender, and touching moments, all mixed together with a healthy dose of gigglesnorts. I recommend both Lisa and Sarah to anyone who enjoys well-written characters, interesting settings, pavlova, or peacock feather patterned suits. If I could give it more stars I would.

If you love this series, you will also love their combined efforts in the "Adventures in Aguillon" series that kicks off with Red Heir. There are currently three books in the series but insiders report that they may be considering a fourth! Stay tuned!
